I think Snake will die and it wont be peaceful either reasons for this is Solid Snake was made to be a terrorist to the public and it went down in history does this senarieo ring bells to anyone? The Boss she fought for her country, hail a hero then sent on a mission to die then go down as a traitor.

with in mgs all the major heros died as "traitors" in the eyes of the goverment e.g. Big Boss Boss only person that is a prime example of hero who dies a hero.... guessed it? grey fox/null/frank jaeger although he did have to die twice

I always thought that there was no chance of Snake ever having a "normal" life but I just re-played MGS1. He says at the end that he would love to just enjoy life.

Plus I forgot that he owned a pack of Husky dogs
Snake just doesn't strike me as a dog person Not a big part of the story but proves he can be more than just a soldier.

Could he possibly live out the rest of his life as a normal person and just enjoy it?

It's very unlikely but made me think.....

If you remember he was racing them in compitions, even when he was out of foxhound he needed something "not normal" to keep him occupied.

He would never settle down with a family or on his own, although he seems so down to earth and level headed you have to remmember he has flawed genes (liquid got the dominante ones) so he cant live life like any average person.

Hes also dieing, with niomi being the only one who has any chance of saving him, but she would have by now dont you think so obiviously she doesnt know how to keep snake alive. As you all know this man wont die in bed of old age or of his radicaly changing genes, hes going to die of his own accord or in battle.

Yea but dog races is a lot different to being in battle. It is quite normal Eventhough he was going to enter the largest dog race in the world

He does have a family.......His dogs But yea I agree with his genes and him being a grumpy old man now. He doesn't stand much chance with meryl

It would be great to see him go out in battle No other way would suit him

id rather hed kill himself but in a specfic place..The boss' grave. a legand should die next to one that would complete his mission and give him a honourable death...well as near as he can get

I don't want him to kill himself. I would rather he died properly in battle preferably saving someone like Raiden or Meryl

Snake has a limited lifespan due to the cloning of big-boss he doesnt have long and he must terminae liquid before he dies off so it will be interesting iv heard that when he goes to shoot his self raiden moves the gun to him and raiden dies instead.

I don't think Raiden will die
